Distribution

Travalco chooses to be an exclusive B2B company. We do not engage in direct to consumer or retail channel activities. Our selective standards enable the company to enjoy partnerships with leading tour operators and wholesalers from 56 countries across all continents. The diversified nature of our client portfolio ensures a healthy business mix and results in valuable year-round production for hotels and other suppliers.

Staff

We have developed a highly motivated and tenured team to carry out the mission of both the company and our clients. A full time staff of 50 professionals plus a seasonal team of tour guides brings the total number of Travalco experts to 100 in high season.

Operating since 1985, the name change in 1994 to TRAVALCO USA, Inc. (Travel Value Company) reflects the expanse of programs that the company has developed beyond the Florida market. Owner operated and managed since its inception, Travalco is continually adapting to the ever evolving leisure travel marketplace.

Technology

On-Line (Web) FlexTour® Reservation System:  Travalco has developed a web based interface that enables your staff to benefit from the advantage of direct access to availability and instant confirmations of our hotel inventory. Aside from the established features such as search, book, add, delete and change, the system now includes an "Info Button " with detailed descriptions of each hotel property. This information can be e-mailed to yourself or to your clients. It is also now possible to print vouchers directly from the system. Maps and driving suggestions have been added to the vouchers for traveler convenience.

XML (Host-2-Host) Reservation system:The Travalco Host to Host interface is an ideal tool for those companies that have the desire to connect their booking engine seamlessly with the Travalco inventory. The complete booking process is handled through a secure XML interface offering 24/7 availability check of hotels and rates, bookings, requests for reservations and cancellations. The Host-to-Host link works in the background at the server level and allows the leveraging of existing booking systems and web sites. The Travalco interface is w3c SOAP compliant and is successfully utilized by leading travel companies around the world. Extensive support files and more than seven years experience with this technology differentiate our solution from any others.
