Whether it is the detail of rate inclusions like Resort Fees, downloadable images or fully interactive maps for our FIT products. Our class leading "Discovery Guides" for our Self Drive Program are designed around the concept of providing Travelers with highly relevant and useful information so that they optimize their American Experience based on the "See it, Do It, Enjoy It" mantra. Self Drive Documentation is available in eight languages with various themes and is offered in multiple media formats including a mobile app that can be customized to our clients brand.
TravelNet, our web application, displays detailed information regarding service availability and offers all relevant available alternatives so that a booking can be completed without delay. Back office functions like voucher status control, e-ticket delivery, invoice reconciliation and statement tools are also accessible. Many data driven reports like availability calendars are automatically created to aid our client's staff in working more efficiently.
Although the TravelNet application is highly intuitive and user-friendly, we also provide training through webinars and documentation to familiarize partners with all features of our proprietary systems.
☰ Distribution Standards ∨
Travalco chooses to be exclusively a B2B company. We do not engage in direct to consumer or retail channel activities. Our selectivity enables us to enjoy partnerships with leading tour operators and qualified wholesalers across all continents. This standard also provides us with exclusive access to accommodations and International FIT rates that are restricted to packaged tours. By acting as a reliable partner for our suppliers, we can offer a diverse and desirable suite of products for our clients.
☰ International FIT and Dynamic Pricing Hybrid ∨
Travalco believes strongly in a hybrid model between International FIT Rates and Dynamic Rates to properly meet the commercial, practical, legal and other regulatory requirements and opportunities from many International Inbound markets. Dynamic inventory and rates have their place in International Inbound travel, but they are limited to only a portion of the demand. These rates forego the essential efficiency and steering abilities of advanced itineraries in today's marketplace.

TravelNet is our client facing web interface which is a Travalco exclusive fine-tuned client facing product. The platform interacts directly with our flexible back end reservation system. TravelNet functions as a single interface for both reservations and our elaborate product information offering. Capabilities and features of TravelNet are continually updated and improved based on our client's input and newly emerging technologies.
Our current NextGen XML API reflects the latest technology and features in the connectivity marketplace; not only travel components like Accommodations, Experiences and Transfers but also Packaged products are searchable, quotable and bookable. Our core system applies rules-based auto substitution options that enable our clients to feature complicated packaged products - such as Self Drive Tours - under a single booking code even if that is not a capability of their own system.
